and nature treks. Enroute, visit Chillies Spice Garden. Arrive in Thekkady and
check-in to your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat
cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, a soul stirring tour (on direct payment

From Thekkdy,1hr .17 min approx 40 Km
Via NHA 183 & NHA 183A is GAVI, small village in Pathnamtitha district of
Kerala, tucked between tea estates and wide and dense forests. It’s the new
KFDC promoted eco-tourism site bringing to spell binding abundance in flora and
fauna.
The road leading to Gavi village takes
you through small streams, tea estates, deep vally. One can have have a chance
to sight wild dear, wild dogs & elephant. Ones you cross the main GAVI
cross check naka, you are cut from world by net ie- No mobile connectivity (
only BSNL works). Check in at the tourist lodge which is located in front of
magnificent lake & adjoining forest view. Take swiss camp just opp to lake
secured by solar electric wiring to stay away wild animals .
Place is great for nature, bird &
animal lovers. Can do trekking, campaing ( night safari), canoeing ( day
time), night camp fire at lake has some good activities to blow away beauty of
the place. For Ayyapan fans, sabrimala peak give the darshan of temple from
other side. Gavi dam reserves the water to Pampa.

very Indian & best (specially the chicken curry at night). Experience
